We invite you to an exhibition of folk costumes from different parts of the world: Japan, India, Mexico, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Hungary, and various regions of Poland, such as those of Łowicz, Cieszyn and Upper Silesia.
This will be an interactive and multi-sensory exhibition, allowing the viewer to touch the fabrics, the embroidery and the embellishments decorating the costumes. The costumes particularly highlighted are those of the participants of the 31st FESTIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF THE MOUNTAINS, taking place in Nowy Sącz between 21 and 27 July 2024. Children will have the opportunity to identify the scent of various spices from around the world, enriching their senses and allowing them to better understand the culture of other nations.
